About Price Glance
The Price Glance Solution is a Competitor Price Monitoring & Recommendation System designed to assist retailers in automatically monitoring and recommending retail prices. By leveraging smart AI analysis and suggestions, this platform helps increase revenue and profits by providing automated price recommendations.
Price Glance serves as a labor support tool for retail businesses by reducing the need for hiring price managers. It also aids in enhancing advertising activities on service sites by comparing and suggesting prices, thereby boosting competitiveness and turnover.
The system automatically generates reasonable retail price recommendations based on the following factors: Cost of goods sold; Competitor’s retail price; Operating costs; and Profit margin. Through automation techniques, the time-consuming manual processing of data, which used to take thousands of hours, has now been significantly reduced to just a few hours for hundreds to thousands of product SKUs.
Our Story
The Price Glance story originated from our own necessity within OMNIS, where we operated multiple online stores in the retail sector. We discovered that buyers extensively compared prices before making a purchasing decision, requiring us to manually track competitor prices for hours.
Realizing the inefficiency of this process, we decided to develop a tool to assist ourselves. The outcomes were remarkable, leading to significant sales growth through competitive pricing and the implementation of fully automated price monitoring with automatic recommendations. This success sparked the idea of transforming this tool into a commercial solution.
In June 2023, Price Glance was established, with headquarters and operations based in Canada, to cater to local businesses while also aiming for global scalability.
